6. Children and children's privacy
As the MiShorts website and services are intended mainly for an audience 14 years of age or older, certain films available for download and/or streaming may not be appropriate for younger Users to view. MiShorts may indicate which films in its online library are primarily suitable for children but access to the main download library for Users under the age of 14 years is not permitted, except with appropriate adult consent and supervision.
Further age restrictions may be imposed by PayPal.
If parents or legal or guardians wish to allow their children to become Users of the MiShorts website and its services, they should supervise the setting up of any relevant accounts, ensuring the correct age is provided, as this will be the means by which library access is restricted. Alternatively, parents or guardians may prefer to download appropriate films using their own User accounts, on behalf of children.
7. Cancellation of a child’s registration
MiShorts will send a confirming e-mail to you, the parent or legal guardian, to verify that you wish to cancel the child's registration. Upon canceling the registration, we will notify the child of the cancellation request via the e-mail address they provided with their registration and will identify the name, address and e-mail address of the person requesting the cancellation.
If you do not have the child's User ID, you should send an email to us containing your name, address and telephone number, together with the child's name and e-mail address associated with their User registration and the child's date of birth.
