Within hours of meeting Manuel Bermudez, we had scripts in our hands and reading with each other ... immediately I knew we were team ... I could feel it. After our first shoot together I was certain of it. However, it took months to get all the finer points of our performance down. Here, with "Ice Cream TIts" I can safely say everything came together. The subject matter, based on the Human Breast Milk craze in the UK, had a risque that brought out the lovable but puritanical side of Manuel's character and the devilish charmer in mine. Most importantly, our comic timing is superb. The satire worked on all levels. Originally, the espressode was to end without Vincenzo (Manuel) having eaten the ice cream. However, earlier in the month, I worked with Jewel Shepard on another project and I asked her if she'd be interested in doing a cameo in "Ice Cream Tits" ... she was all over it, so I wrote her scene moments before she arrived on set and we changed the ending. The espressode became our longest in as far as time is concerned ... but because of Jewel and fine performances of myself and Manuel Bermudez ... it is the most watched of our Double Espresso series.
